OUR STORY

Hi, I’m Mary, the primary name behind the ideas and operations here! Thanks for taking a moment to check us out! I moved to Holstein from Des Moines in 2017, while my husband, David, is a Holstein native. Together, we’re raising our three wonderful (and very energetic) kids. We're an ambitious family of five focused on bringing new opportunities to this growing community.

Life keeps us busy in the best way! I balance working full-time in finance for Wells Enterprises— promoting the world’s greatest frozen treats—while also managing Second Wind: Work + Gather. David is a full-time banker and farms alongside his family. Our kids stay plenty busy with activities, and there’s never a dull moment in our home!

With a background in the event industry, I’ve always loved bringing people together. In late 2022, we acquired this space with a vision to transform it into something special—a place where people like me can work remotely, while also providing a venue for meetings, pop-ups, and special events. Creating a space for people to gather and connect has been exciting and gratifying, and we are thrilled to share it with all of you!
